I won!

I played in the final bingo game on the boat this afternoon and I won the 3rd game, worth $100! I was quite excited. Luckily, I had dragged Mac there with me so I had a witness to my triumph. I received a t-shirt as part of my prize, and asked for my winnings in 2 $50s.
If I had won the 4th game instead of the 3rd I would have won $500 instead of $100.f But That's OK. It was still thrilling to win. And if you subtract what I spent on the bingo tickets on the cruise I am still $12 ahead.

Sunrise

I shot this photo from our balcony this morning around 6:45 am. It was pretty gorgeous! We're heading home now. Still beautiful weather!

Tuesday's towel animal

The Stingray!

Animals of Bermuda

Although we've been told a couple of times that there aren't any wild animals in Bermuda I did find a couple of animals I wanted to show you: the sheep grazing outside the museum with the ocean in the background, and a gorgeous bronze model of a boar, with Mac of course standing behind it.

If it's Tuesday....

It must be Bermuda!
We are getting ready to depart this afternoon--everyone needs to be on the boat by 3:30 pm---so we spent the morning outside. The 4 of us took a fun boat trip that lasted a couple of hours to view the homes of the rich and famous from the water. The only names I recognized were Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones, but we did see a number of great houes.

This photo is from the place we went afterwards: The Museum of the Island of Bermuda, which just happened o be near where our ship was docked.
This museum included an old fort, an old house, green field with sheep gazing on them, and it included an exhibition about the history of shpwrecks, which was pretty interestig. It also had a pool that contained several trained dolphins, and for a little extra money you could swim with them.

Rainbow

I shot this photo off our balcony. You can just barely see the rainbow in the middle. Just arrived at Bermuda. More later!

At sea

Here are a couple of photos of us on the first full day of the cruise, which the ship calls "day 2." The photo of Eric and Peter shows them eating in the dining room (Peter had chicken, which he love) and the photo of Mac and Ginny was taken out on the deck, around the time of their first shuffleboard matchup.

Mac surveys the ocean

Day 1

Check in was easy but it was crowded!
After we got aboard we had a relaxing evening, eating dinner at Johnny Rocket's and watching a comedian who was pretty funny. We think we have the same Austrailian cruise director as we did the last time we were on this boat! His introduction was oddly familiar...

On our way

Ginny, Mac, Eric and Peter are heading to Bermuda on a 5-day Royal Caribbean cruise! I've created this blog so I can practice uploading photos from my iPad and posting without using my computer. More soon, I hope!
